Ghostship is Harbour Masters’ take on a native PC port for Super Mario 64. Rather than just running the game through emulation, Ghostship builds a dedicated desktop experience around the classic platformer with a simpler setup flow and a more modern frontend.
The port supports high refresh rate gameplay, a modern configuration UI, texture pack support, a built-in debug menu, and quick level-select functionality. Harbour Masters has also talked about future custom model and randomizer support, which gives the project a lot of room to grow.
Ghostship launched first on Windows, with the project positioned to expand further from there. As with the other Harbour Masters ports, you still need to provide your own supported ROM to build the required data files.
