Drop Letters. Form Words. Survive.

LetterCore is a Tetris-meets-Scrabble arcade word game. Letter tiles fall onto a grid — stack them to form valid words horizontally, vertically, or diagonally and they clear for points. The longer and rarer the word, the bigger the score. Chain words back-to-back for a combo multiplier.

How to Play

Guide falling letter pieces onto the board. When letters line up into a recognised word (3 letters or more), the cells are highlighted and confirmed for removal after a short countdown. Clear fast, chain combos, and keep the board from filling up.

Game Modes

• Classic (6 cols): Standard play with letter-based hint chips guiding you toward possible words with your current piece.
• Easy (7 cols): Wider board with hints and pre-forming suggestions for a more relaxed pace.
• Hard (5 cols): Tight board, no hints, and a Make-Word challenge each round.
• Story Mode: Scripted worlds and levels with unique gimmicks — no wildcards, forced minimum word lengths, and more.
• Rogue Dungeon: Roguelike mode with random modifiers per floor and escalating board pressure.
• Daily Challenges: One unique challenge per day of the year, with coin rewards and exclusive themes.
• NumberCore: A math variant where tiles are digits and operators, and valid expressions replace words.

Special Tiles

• Wildcard (?): Resolves automatically to the best possible letter for your current board state using dictionary pattern matching.
• Point Tile (!): Doubles the score of any word it is part of.
• Bomb (@): Counts down each turn — clear it fast or it explodes and destroys nearby tiles.
