Paper Mario Master Quest by SupremeAlex reworks the original Paper Mario enemy stats, attack patterns, badge shop inventory, and badge point economy to require genuine strategic thinking about party composition, badge loadouts, and item management.
Enemy HP, attack, and defense values have been substantially increased. Several bosses have new attack patterns not present in the original. The badge shop economy has been rebalanced so players cannot simply buy their way to powerful loadouts early.
Master Quest is available as a patch for the North American Paper Mario N64 ROM and plays in any N64 emulator. A companion document explaining all major changes is included with the patch download.
