Project+ is the successor to Project M, the landmark Brawl mod that reimplemented Melee-style physics, L-cancelling, and competitive mechanics into the Brawl engine. When Project M was discontinued in 2015, the community continued development as Project+, adding new character balances, stage updates, and quality-of-life improvements.
The roster includes all Brawl characters with reworked movesets tuned for competitive play. Each character reflects their Melee or Smash 4 feel where applicable. Competitive scenes remain active in North America, Europe, and Japan.
Installation requires a Wii and SD card with the mod files. For Dolphin emulation, setup is straightforward using the netplay-compatible build. Project+ events are run regularly at grassroots tournaments worldwide.
