Play Sega & Namco Arcade Games on Wii

Did you know the Wii can play arcade exclusives like Mario Kart GP 1 & 2 and F-Zero AX? The Wii shares similar hardware with the Triforce Arcade board, and thanks to Nintendont, we can run these games natively with full arcade features enabled.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure your Wii is fully prepared with these essential mods:

Preparation

  1. Ensure your Wii is modded and has Nintendont installed in your /apps folder.
  2. Obtain the Triforce Arcade ISOs (must be in .iso or .gcm format).
  3. Prepare an SD card or USB drive formatted to FAT32 with a 32KB clusters size.

Setup Steps

  • Create a folder named /games/Mario Kart GP/ on your storage device.
  • Place your ISO inside and rename it to game.iso.
  • Launch Nintendont from the Homebrew Channel.
  • Go to **Settings** and ensure **'Arcade Mode'** is set to ON. This restores the coin-op functionality and special arcade-only menus.

Controller Support

For the best experience, use a GameCube controller or a Wii Classic Controller. Nintendont even supports USB steering wheels for that authentic arcade feel!
