It feels like a lifetime ago when we first saw the official reveal of Splatoon Raiders back on June 10, 2025. Arriving alongside a major series update, this was the moment we all realized Nintendo was taking the franchise in a bold new direction. Personally, this is the exact Splatoon game I have been wanting for a long time. While the multiplayer focus of the main series is great, a dedicated single player adventure is something I have felt was missing for years.

In this new story, you join forces with Deep Cut to explore the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. Playing as a mechanic, you use all sorts of new weapons and gadgets to fight off Salmonids while searching for treasure. You can play through the entire story alone or team up with three other players in a cooperative mode. This is a massive exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2, and it proves that the system will continue to get great exclusives even as the library continues to grow.
